Recipes & Stuff!! - Ayam Percik
Ingredients
- 200ml Coconut milk
- 1kg Chicken Drumsticks
- 5 stalks Lemongrass, white part only, chopped
- 80g Shallots, chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 3tsp Fresh Turmeric powder
- 20g Fresh Ginger, skinned & chopped
- 4 Red chillies
- 3 tbsp Coconut Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1.5 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Fish sauce
Method
- Blend lemongrass, shallots, cloves, ginger, chillies, coconut oil, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and fish sauce to create a marinade.
- Brush the marinade on the drumsticks on the chicken.
- Bake the drumsticks in 180C preheated oven. Every 10 minutes, turn the drumsticks and brush more marinade. Baked until cooked through or at least about 40 minutes.
